We have been in Toronto for almost two whole weeks now, thankfully jetlag is behind us and Ruby is sleeping well. We have already seen the
CN tower and we have just found a great little apartment to rent. Our apartment is in
Little Italy and I am very excited about setting up Rubens' nursery in the new apartment.
We are learning the Canadian language pretty quickly. For example: Ruby's mom is so sweet, she can change his diaper and put him in his crib to sleep without so much as a squeek."
Ruby is loving the condo that Aaron's company put us up in. It is so hot (centrally controlled heating) that Ruby sleeps in just a diaper and singlet. He loves scooting around on the floor (it too is heated). He isn't crawling 'techincally' but he can cover the lenght of a queen bed in seconds. Which he did much to mom's surprise and landed head first on the floor. So we had our first experience of the Toronto helath system, I called 911, and was put through to Telehealth, a 24hour phone line staffed by nurses. There we great, and Ruby was fine. Very scary though.
